Having a safe vault could be practical especially for those who may have important valuables that should not be left lying around.

There however are random stories surrounding its use. Just like this one shared by LittleThings.Com.

“The idea of finding our relatives’ old items is a dream that many of us have often had. Coming across an old letter written to a sweetheart, or even coming across the old trunk of a long lost relative. These incredible discoveries are the kinds of things that many people wish to have at least once in their lifetime, a bridge to the past. When the lucky young man found this beautiful safe he finally managed to open it, and when he looked inside he was probably just as amazed as we were. Beautiful little pieces of the past from his dear grandfather. Every single piece tells a story”

 Locked up

A couple however have been a subject of a police manhunt operations following their reported locking of their baby inside a hotel safe.

NBC News shared “Sanders said the child was less than a year old, but it’s “possible” the baby was somehow able to lock itself in the safe. A language barrier prevented staff from finding out more before the family let, Sanders said. Niagara police alerted the New York Police Department but still had not located the family by Wednesday morning, Sanders said.”

Media outfit KSAT meantime reported about a rescue of a high school student who had been trapped inside their school safe. Visit our Singapore Location

“The 2-feet-wide by 4-feet-deep government-issued safe is more than 40 years old and is usually unlocked, Price said. Price said there’s nothing kept in it, but for whatever reason, the student ended up inside and couldn’t get the door open. Price said school officials will be getting rid of this safe to make sure something like this does not happen again.”
